Your role
- A close adviser to the CEO and the stakeholders, you are a pillar of its growth by anticipating all major financial developments. (i.e. create new tools, reporting )
- A real agent of culture change, through closely collaborating with the line managers, you are a force for proposals to set up a corporate culture based on effective and proactive reporting and strong digitalization
- You act as the guardian of all financial matters and install this “number culture” throughout the company as well as the “project culture”
- You are able to manage transversal projects with the department managers by understanding completely the business and after proposing improvements
- You spend the necessary time with partners (customers and suppliers) to perfectly master the company's business and understand its challenges
- You supervise the financial pillars of the company: finance, management control, treasury, accounting, legal aspects, relations with partners (banks, insurance, tax specialists, etc.) and manage a team of around 6 people
- You actively participate in the development of new business or new files, in particular: B2C sales via e-commerce, sales to brands, geographic expansion in Europe and beyond, inventory optimization, margin, taxation
- Comfortable with the spirit of a young SME, you are capable of the big gap between a global and anticipatory communication, in particular to the shareholders, and a detailed analytical approach to accompany and challenge the members of the Management Team
Your profile
- You have a university degree in a financial background or an equivalent
- You have at least 10 years of experience in finance, including a first experience as CFO
- You have an experience with Business Intelligence (BI Tool)
- You speak French and are fluent in English
- You are business minder and are used to work with transversal projects
- You have been exposed to international trade (notably currency hedging and currency exposure management)
- You have business finance and compliance expertise, but also finance @ IT processes.
- Prior management of IT projects
- Strong interest in management and ERP systems and process digitalization
- B to B to C experience is an advantage, as is previous management
- You are rigorous, structuring, anticipative, mature. Your flexibility and communication skills allow you to convince and influence. You resist the stress inevitably generated by a very high growth company
