As the SPOC (Single Point of Contact, both within the department, and towards the corporate HSE, infrastructure & quality unit), the Research and Facility Management (RFM) coordinates all operational aspects of lab installations in terms of technical support, research infrastructure and HSE. It also supervises the quality assurance (and accreditation, where relevant) of existing and future scientific installations and is the guarantor for the functioning of scientific and technological installations on the different LIST sites.
The candidate will make process agreement analyses, especially when chemicals are involved. He/she will manage safety aspects for equipment use and new processes, as well as guaranteeing that the installation of new laboratory equipment follows the facilities and HSE recommendations. In this context, he/she will have to do some laboratory management.
The candidate will take part in the statistical process control of equipment in the framework of the quality assurance of the MRT Department.
