Hospidex, based in Tienen (Belgium), is active in the health sector since 1986. Hospidex specializes in the import, distribution and marketing of medical equipment in western Europe and is mainly active in three regions: Benelux, France and the German-speaking countries. Within these markets, Hospidex delivers directly or indirectly to hospitals, specialist medical shops, laboratories and rest and nursing homes.
In order to strengthen our Sales & Marketing department we are looking for a
Business Development & Product Manager : Safety & Infection Control
(Packaging of Medical Waste and Cleaning/Disinfection of surfaces and intact skin)
You will be responsible for :
- Performing market analyses and product development for the Safety & Infection Control business unit;
- Proposing and realizing the required marketing and sales instruments for these products in collaboration with the Sales Managers;
- Training and supporting the sales teams and customers;
- Maintaining a day-to-day relationship with international suppliers;
- Monitoring the legislative framework of the assigned products.
Your profile
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a paramedical field;
- You have experience in the medical sector, preferably in a similar or related position;
- Knowledge of the French, German and Dutch markets is an asset;
- You have experience in negotiating on an international level;
- You are customer- and service-minded and known for your excellent contact skills;
- You are independent, stress resistant and can work in a problem-solving way;
- You are flexible and willing to travel abroad from time to time and perform sporadic evening and weekend work;
- You are perfectly trilingual Dutch/French/English.
