Assures compliant process conformance and complete product documentation, inclusive of product design history, Process and Service documentation, supporting successful product realization and product lifecycle management.
Partner with teams ensuring products and services conformance to requirements of ISO 9001 and Beckman Coulter Quality Systems with particular focus on Design Controls, Document Controls, Risk Management (per ISO 14971) and Production and Service Controls.
Ensures organizational alignment, oversight and implementation of corporate process including design controls, product and environmental requirements.
BS Degree in engineering, science or related field, or equivalent experience required, MS Degree or higher preferred
Certified Quality Engineer (SQA) and/or Auditor Certification desired
Some years of experience in product development, manufacturing and / or quality in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related regulated field (e.g FDA, DoD, Aerospace, Automotive)
Communicates effectively across functions and able to identify, plan, develop and facilitate quality system integration, process improvements and drive change cross functionally.
Awareness of industry standards and regulations and how they relate to internal policies and procedures. Influences interpretation of internal policies and procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
Engages team mates by asking for input and listening to other ideas.
Manages changing conditions, processes and approaches, leading teams/orgs effectively through change.
Identifies opportunities, offers solutions, and participates in execution for product and process improvements.
Language skills: fluent in English and German
