Our customer is a strongly appreciated forwarder providing total logistic solutions to his customers. They are experts in transportation overland, sea, air and ocean, specialized packaging and warehousing services. For their well known international automotive client they are looking for an enthusiastic Asset specialist.
Your responsibilities
Following tasks are included in the job:
- Arranging transportation and invoicing
- Handling documentation
- Coordination and negotiation with internal and external client colleagues
- Demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills to ensure good follow-up and delivery
- Coordinating and supervising logistics preparations to be used on events and meetings
- Assisting and reporting (to) the Asset Leader in daily operations
Your profile
- Bachelor in Logistics Management
- 2 – 5 years experience in operational logistics
- In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020, EU trade terms and EU transport regulations
- Excellent communicator, strong analytical mindset and detail-oriented
- Teamplayer, but being able to work independently
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline drive environment
- English (spoken and written) as common language, knowledge of Japanese is preferable but not mandatory
