To reinforce their Finance and Accounting team, we are actively looking for:
Accounting Team Lead
Your responsibilities
As an Accounting Team Lead you will partner with the Finance Manager to manage all general accounting & tax activities such as:
- Supervise the maintenance of company general ledgers and perform reconciliation as required;
- Optimize and document procedures also financial controls following statutory and group policies and take part in the consolidation process;
- Calculate and prepare monthly and annual VAT returns (BE, NL & LU) and ensure TAX compliance;
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Supervise accounting team
Your profile
- Minimum Bachelor level in Accounting / Business Economics
- Between 3 - 5 years relevant experience with knowledge of Belgian GAAP (Consultancy, Audit or Accounting)
- Communicative, analytical and prioritization skills
- Focus on procedures and processes
- Good communication skills in Dutch, French and English
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, etc...); Navision Knowledge is a plus
