The Accountant will be responsible for:
- handle month end closing process
- preparing VAT, Intrastat returns
- preparing annual accounts/corporate tax returns
- credit management/credit limits
- other legal reporting
- set up of masterdata
- assist the senior accountant in ad hoc tasks
- Development of process and procedures
- Installing control reports and processes
- Participate in automation projects
You are also prepared to help out with:
- booking accounts payable invoices and prepare payment runs
- Booking of the bank statements
- Perform the Customer billing
Profile of ideal Accountant:
- Bachelor in accounting, or equal by experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role within a finance department
- Process minded and looking for improvements
- Accountable and responsible
- Flexible, willing to invest
- Accurate & Timely
- Team player but can work independently
- Knowledge of ERP systems Sap, Oracle is a plus
- Good knowledge of Excel is a big plus
- You are fluent in Dutch and English and French is a plus
