A job as Accountant has just been made available within an international company located in the centre of Brussels. You will be part of the finance and HR team and be responsible for the day to day bookkeeping of the company.
As Accountant you will be responsible of:
- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- VAT declaration
- Preparing and sending annual membership fees and reminders to our members
- Monthly closings of the accounts
- Monthly analytics for the EU-funded projects and other teams
- Systems and procedures improvement
The ideal profile of the Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- At least 3 years' experience in a relevant experience, preferably in the not-for-profit sector
- Fluency in English and good knowledge of French
- Excellent knowledge of Belgian accounting legislation
- Good knowledge of the EU VAT rules
- Proactive, open-minded and independent
