About the role

Decoroom is expanding its business in Belgium and is looking for a Business Developer / Project Manager to lead the development of the Flemish market.

This is a unique opportunity to develop the Flemish market for a fast-growing, design-driven and sustainable event company.

Your mission is clear: grow Decoroom’s revenue in Flanders, build strong long-term client relationships and position Decoroom as a trusted partner for local event professionals.

Decoroom specialises in the rental of furniture, partitions, accessories and plants for professional events, including corporate events, trade shows, indoor and outdoor projects, and public events.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for actively developing Decoroom’s commercial presence in the Flemish market.

Your key missions:

  • Prospect and acquire new clients across Flanders.
  • Build, develop and retain a strong client portfolio.
  • Identify and approach key decision-makers: event agencies, venues, companies, institutions, corporate clients, suppliers and local partners.
  • Grow and activate your network within the Flemish event industry.
  • Represent Decoroom at client meetings, trade shows, professional events and networking opportunities.


In this role, you will understand client needs and propose tailored solutions for event furniture, space planning and decoration. You will also manage client requests, quotations and project follow-up in coordination with internal teams.


What we are looking for

You enjoy developing a market, building relationships and turning commercial opportunities into revenue.

Must-haves:

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, project management or the events industry.
  • Fluent Dutch / Flemish required.
  • Fluent French required.
  • Strong knowledge of the Flemish market, ideally within the events industry.


You are comfortable with prospecting, client meetings, portfolio management and commercial follow-up.
You are autonomous, structured, proactive, results-driven and have excellent interpersonal skills.
An existing local network in Flanders would be a strong asset, including agencies, venues, suppliers, companies, institutions, corporate clients or other industry stakeholders.

Salary package:

  • €45,000 gross annual fixed salary
