The European Medicines Verification Organization (EMVO) is a Brussels-based young organization (created in 2015) . We’re a dynamic multilingual team of young people.
EMVO ensures the implementation of a functioning, secure, interoperable and cost-effective system across Europe, to ensure patient health and safety = the European Medicines Verification System (EMVS). Our stakeholders are the European Commission, the European pharmaceutical sectors and EU-member states and all EU-citizens. In each member state an organization is working with the EMVO system to secure the legal supply chain and prevent falsifications.
EMVO is growing. Our structure has changed since member states have been creating their own national Medicines Verification Organizations. All those organizations at national level and the EU-stakeholders should be able to work together in this single system.
