The laboratory in Antwerp takes care of the production and delivery of laboratory services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service is characterized by quality and short response times and is ISO 17025 accredited and ISO 9001 certified. Activities include both high-frequency measurements, often with short response times, and measurements with lower frequencies and longer response times on petroleum products, gases and petrochemicals and related products. General techniques such as GC, HPLC, XRF, ICP, AAS and titration and specific techniques for the determination of physical aspects are used.

Your responsibilities

  • Receives, checks (and registers) the offered (sample/sample) material.
  • If necessary, request information about this from the supervisor if the material or analysis is unclear.
  • Analyzing samples/samples.
  • Assessing the reality value of the analysis result.
  • Processes the results obtained and records the work carried out in the LIMS digital system.
  • Performing work in the context of quality.

Your profile

  • Minimum working and thinking level A1 Chemistry.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment is a plus.
  • Has a high sense of responsibility
  • Is willing to develop himself further
  • Can work in a team and is proactive.
  • Numerically savvy and is very accurate
  • Affinity with computer systems (Microsoft Office, LIMS)
  • Mastering the ENG or NL language, both verbally and in writing
