CLdN is a Luxembourg based group of companies with their main activities initially limited to the maritime sector, including chartering of dry bulk carriers (deep sea), industrial ferries (short sea), as well as terminal operations. For several years, CLdN has been diversifying its activities in other areas such as energy, real estate and investment in key sectors in Luxembourg and abroad.
CLdN ro-ro S.A. is a logistic service provider with its core activity in the industrial ferry traffic as well as the handling of passenger cars. The group offers 130 sailings per week between the European continent, United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, Portugal and Spain. CLdN ro-ro SA has a network of own terminals on both sides of the Channel, own vessels and a strong team of co-workers.
Operating 24 modern RoRO vessels, the group is set to expand extensively and will increase the fleet in the next coming years with 12 new build RORO vessels, of which 8 have already been ordered. The first, Celine – the largest short sea RORO in the world (8000 lane meter vessels), will enter in service in October 2017. In order to prepare the new vessels arrival, the group is also investing in a massive expansion of the Zeebrugge Port facilities and new equipment in the other ports such as rail heads, berths and additional landside capacity.
