The task will consist of 2: coaching (20%) and technical (80%)
First of all, you will actively participate in the development of new electrical and/or
electronic designs. Power-electronics is the skill you need to have/develop to participate
in this team. Beside this pure technical aspect, the “coaching” role is also very important. You will play the role of coach/ team leader (create an environment which leads to a good performing and “happy” team. In case R&D the project consists mainly of job for this team, you will have to act as technical project leader.
The coach/team leader aspect :
• coaching and steering of the team-members, take care of competence and training, create a good cooperation within the group and with the interface partners, take care of all person-related issues and administration, organize the planning & workload etc.
• Participate in the different development projects to cover the design and product verification
• Take care of the quality procedures and the incorporation in the existing quality system and product lifecycle management system.
• Participate in steering board of R&D
• Define HW and SW test tools for the execution of electrical and electronic test
• Investigate and implement design-to-cost measures on the existing product portfolio
• Coordinate technical discussions with suppliers during different development phases
