Within the SLA with Project companies, Parkwind delivers management services to its customer for the development, construction and O&M of the Project. The Contracting and Procurement Manager leads the Parkwind contracting and procurement teams that are involved in the development, construction and the O&M of the Projects. The main responsibility of the Contracting and Procurement Manager are described below and aim to fulfil the client’s needs: a timely development and construction within budget whilst respecting high safety and quality standards as well as the budgeted availability of the turbines of the operational wind farms. At the same time, a structured approach to Procurement needs to be elaborated and maintained in order to support Parkwind in its future development. Therefore, also internal clients in support processes need the support of the department. The Contracting and Procurement Manager reports to the co-CEO and functionally to the Project Director.

Parkwind is a leading company in Europe in the area of developing, financing, building and operating offshore wind farms. It combines all offshore wind energy activities of the Colruyt group, which are part of the long-term sustainability strategy of the group.
Parkwind’s offshore wind farms are Belwind (171 MW), Northwind (216 MW) and Nobelwind (165 MW). These three wind farms have been financed via long term project finance with a consortium of international banks and other lenders. Parkwind is currently looking at other offshore wind opportunities in Belgium and abroad.
