PwC Treasury and Financial Risks Consultant 1985 1985 As a Treasury and Financial Risks Consultant, you will play an important role in advising clients on strategic, organisational and process issues relating to financial risk management and its accounting impact. Your main responsibilities will include:contributing to advisory assignments relating to financial risk management strategies, organisational best practices, internal controls, treasury process improvement and the application of IAS 39/FAS 133, with a main focus on multinational companies, but also on financial institutions using your expertise to provide comfort on audits of treasury centres to the audit team; developing the skills and competences of junior staff in a dynamic international environment; managing and developing relationships with clients and throughout the Belgian firm. Some recent projects:Review of internal controls of trading activities Advice on strategy Advice on the set-up of hedge documentation for fuel hedging strategies Embedding IAS 39 into commodity risk management policies and processes Treasury internal audit Treasury audit support. You have:a university degree in business administration, economics or similar between 2 and 7 years of experience in treasury, FRM or audit; and ideally some experience in the above areas in the financial services sector or in a corporate treasury environment a strong interest in financial risk management some experience with financial risk management through assignments with corporates or financial institutions, although this is not a strict requirement knowledge of internal controls and audit methodology good knowledge of English; other languages are a plus accounting and/or audit experience (internal controls and audit methodology) would be an asset as well as CFA/GARP and knowledge of valuations We have this opportunity at our Brussels or Antwerp office.
